EE4NJ

Based on the recommendations of the New Jersey Educator Effectiveness Task Force Report, released in March 2011, the Excellent Educators for New Jersey, EE4NJ, pilot was initiated in several LEAs in the 2011-2012 school year. Pilot districts, including Pemberton Township School District will provide pertinent feedback to the Department of Education to provide a comprehensive teacher evaluation system to further enhance student learning outcomes The Institute for Effective Education serves on a consultative basis for the Pemberton Township School District to provide input into the utilization of multiple measures to assess student achievement, as well as recommend an additional measure of teacher practice to further guide the evaluation of teacher effectiveness.  Continued collaboration between Pemberton Township and IEE will further advance pre-service teacher preparation and graduate education leadership systems at IEE.

Principal researcher:  Daniel Hart, Ed.D.
Grant support:  Angela Connor, IEE Consultant
