While in the Program, if your GPA falls below the required 2.8, you will be placed in limbo. While in limbo, students may not apply for student teaching; however, they are sheltered from any changes in the program. If a student teaching application has already been filed, students will be reviewed on an individual basis by the Director of the IEE Certification Program. Students in limbo will be provided 2 semesters to remediate their GPA. If successful, students will be reclassified as “active.” If unsuccessful, students will be declared Inactive.
