I am in the program but my GPA fell below the required GPA this semester. How does that affect my status in the Program?

While in the Program, if your GPA falls below the required 2.8 (3.0 starting February 2015), you will be placed in limbo. While in limbo, students may not apply for student teaching; however, they are sheltered from any changes in the program.  If a student teaching application has already been filed, students will be reviewed on an individual basis by the Director of the IEE Certification Program. Students in limbo will be provided 2 semesters to remediate their GPA.  If successful, students will be reclassified as “active.”  If unsuccessful, students will be declared Inactive.
